The Road

Our desire is to help teens encounter and build relationships with God through seeking God in studying His word, serving others in our daily activities, and sharing Jesus through our actions and deeds while we walk along this road of our lives.  Each day provides us with opportunities to do these things. Our hope is that we will be able to connect ourselves to God through those opportunities.

What We Do

Seeking God
We seek God through our Bible study and worship together. By reading and talking about His word, we learn and better understand what God wants for our lives.  Some of the things we do to seek God are...

Sunday Morning Bible class - Our Bible classes are for all teens from sixth (6th) grade to twelfth (12th) grade. We meet Sunday mornings from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM.

Refuel
Refuel takes place Wednesday afternoons and evenings here at the church. We invite teens to hang out with us after school on Wednesdays, share some pizza with us and join us in worship. Our high-energy worship includes singing and studying Godʼs words for us. Join us Wednesdays from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Hang Out @ 3 PM, Food @ 6PM, Worship @ 7 PM).

Road Rage
Our Sunday night experience is designed to help us dig into Godʼs word and explore its meaning through games and experiences we share as a group. The evening also includes time to hang out, fellowship, and share a meal. It all happens Sunday evenings from 6:00 PM - 8:00PM.

Bible study - Our teens meet throughout the week to dig deeper into the Bible together. The seek out ways to include God in everyday life.

Serving Others
Part of being a community committed to living a life burning for Christ is serving others. We seek out ways to serve both this community and the world through...

Student Mission Trips - Each summer we embark on service-oriented mission trips with both our high school AND junior high students. These involve serving in every setting from building houses to putting on VBS programs for children. Our goal on these trips is to share Christʼs love through our actions.

Service Saturdays - One Saturday each month, we commit to giving back to our community. These days are devoted to serving this community in a variety of opportunities. Times and dates may very.

Sharing Jesus
Ultimately, we are called to share Jesus with our family, our community, and our world. We feel this is done through our actions and relationships with people, as well as opening up and telling people directly about the identity of Jesus Christ...

Relationships- Our actions and the way we treat people in our relationships help us share the spirit and love of Jesus Christ with everyone we meet. Our teens can learn and practice this through youth group events such as Road Rage, Refuel, mission trips, retreats, and other events designed to combine Godʼs word with practical, everyday life.

Talking the talk- All of our bible study opportunities (bible class, road rage, refuel, weekly bible studies, etc.) are designed to not only help teens learn and understand Godʼs word, but also to help them understand how to apply it to daily life and share it with anyone they may meet.
