Come celebrate the start of summer! This party is for ALL families: teens, toddlers, young marrieds, grandparents – everyone! Bring your favorite Christian or Disney CD and come for races, the Hokey Pokey and more! Cost is $4.50 per person, $7.50 for in-lines (pay at the door), you can bring your own skates too. The Snack Bar will be open or you can get pizza and a pitcher of soft drinks for $8.75. The rink (Bear Creek Skating, 210 Hwy. 6) will be open to WHCC members and their guests only so bring a friend!

mothertulip.jpgAHHH! Come be pampered Saturday, May 17 from 9:00 - 11:00 am in the gym. There will be breakfast and other surprises. Wear your p.j.’s and robes! This is for all daughters from birth through 5th grade and their moms. The cost is $3 per person. Bring your own camera.

canned-food.gifThere is a red End Hunger barrel in the mall to collect food for Cypress Assistance Ministries year round! They are currently in need of: cereal, cake/muffin mix, jelly, diapers (size 2-6), toilet paper, paper towels, canned soup, spaghetti sauce, juice, canned pasta, laundry detergent, and poise pads.

deerrun.gifIf you have finished grades 3, 4 or 5 and are interested in going to Camp Deer Run, please contact Terri Shepherd (832.788.4200) for carpooling information. Session 1 is June 8 - 13 and Session 6 is August 3 - 8. You must make your own camp reservations online (campdeerrun.com).

If you have finished grades 2, 3, 4 or 5, we will also be attending Camp
Imani August 10 - 15. Camp registration forms will soon be available at the Children’s Ministry kiosk. Camp Imani is run by Kathy Cameron from Sugar Grove and several area churches including Memorial and Bammel will be attending the same session. Due Now!- Sr High Mexico Mission trip deposit of $60 and forms due.
Note about the Mexico trip: The Medical Release Form and the Parent Consent letter must be signed by BOTH parents and BOTH the English and Spanish parts filled out.

May 11th- TREK balance of $135 due.

May 16th- Senior Luau-  At the home of Scott and Kelli John. Seniors and their families are invited to attend. Juniors are invited to sign up to serve.  Sign up at the Youth Ministry booth. Cost is $13 per person.( Seniors are free!) 


May 18th- Youth Family Poluck- All Jr and Sr High students and their families are invited to come welcome Jordan Fergunson to West Houston. Immediately following second service in the gym. Bring an entree, a vegetable and either a dessert or bread.

May 18th- End of School Party- 5:30-8:00pm at the building. We are going to have food, water slides, games and more. Wear old clothes and be prepared to get wet. Cost is $10 and if you bring a friend they come free!
