Saturday:

Hebrews 13:16 - And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

—>  Make a sacrifice of your time today. Be a living sacrifice today. Give up your time or something that you normally wouldn’t give up. Maybe you need to share something.

Sunday:

1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray continually.

—>  Spend today in an all day prayer. Where ever you go, keep the radio off. In the silence of the car spend time speaking to Him. Think of ways that you can be in constant conversation with God. Pray without ceasing.

Romans 8:26 - In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness.

—>  Just as the Spirit helps us, help someone who seems overwhelmed with work or someone in trouble. When you encounter these people today, make it your first instinct to ask how you can help them.

1 Corinthians 13 :7 - It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

—>  Who needs you to take up for them today? Look out for those who can’t/don’t know how to protect themselves.

John 13:5 - After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

—>  . Be a servant at home, work, school, etc.

James 4:10 - Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

—>  We can’t do everything ourselves, sometimes we need help and we need to ask for it when we do and not be ashamed. Let others shoulder the heavy burdens in life with you because we can easily collapse under the load: ask for help today.

Proverbs 3:5 - 6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

—>  Acknowledge God in everything you do today. From the sunrise, to your family life, give God glory for all that is around you all day. As we worship today, acknowledge Him.

DOUBLE DARE DAY!

—>  Ask someone if you can pray for them. Pray for someone who would not be expecting it.

Sunday:

Hebrews 3:3 - Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself.

—>  Write notes today to those you love and mail them. Letters are becoming so uncommon that they are truly treasured.

I Corinthians 3:6 - 8 - I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor.

—>  How can you talk about Jesus or our Father in ways that will plant seeds for those who do not know Him? Try to have a conversation with someone today that will plant seeds.

James 3:10 - Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be.

—>  When you start to say something negative, stop. Instead, offer a prayer of praise and thanks to God.

Ephesians 6:7 - Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men…

—>  When asked to do something today, whether by an employer, a spouse, or maybe even a child, do so willingly and immediately. Even think about asking if there is anything else that can be done.
