The Way

In this sermon from John 14:1-6, Brian addresses the disciples' anxiety as Jesus prepares them for His departure. Jesus tells His troubled followers not to let their hearts be troubled but to trust in God and in Him. Brian emphasizes that in times of difficulty, we have a choice about where to place our trust - either in our circumstances or in Jesus. Jesus promises that in His Father's house are many rooms and that He goes to prepare a place for His followers. The way to the Father is through Jesus alone, who makes this possible through His death on the cross, opening a new and living way into God's presence.
